Ok..........yesterday I got home from work tired and irritable, had a really challenging day. The first thing my daughter hits me with when I walk through the door is..........Mommeeeeee, I found a kitten on the way home from school today!!! My answer was "Take it to Mona (my next door naeighbor), we have a cat and a dog...", the look on her face........she just turned around went upstairs and came back down with this tiny, little, pure white scrap of a kitten in her arms......well, I tell you, I fell in love!!!! We have recently lost the best ratter we have ever had, someone shot him in the face and left him for dead outside our place, we had to have him put to sleep. This really broke my daughter's heart, she even made a cross for him and erected it in the back garden, so you can imagine, I didn't have the heart to say no!!!!
Now I just have to get my other cat Jezebel to accept her, Jonty, my dachshund is no problem!!!!
On the bright side, she really is a sweet little thing, soooooo playful, I cannot imagine how people can abandon such adorable little creatures, apparently the Mother was in the box as well, with two other kittens, these were taken home by the friend she was walking with, if it had been me I would have taken them all!!! Will post a photo of her (the kitten) soon!!!
