I haven't published a post in ages, been feeling a little lethargic and trying to get back into the swing of things after the Festive Season!! I sincerely hope that 2009 is going to be a better year than 2008. Looking back things were pretty scary for me sometimes during 2008. I think I need to have a more positive attitude, kinda difficult when you have the threat of the company you work for being taken over and the possibility of you once again not having a job being a very real threat. My partner was also just recently done in by the company he was employed by.........politely told there was no work and not even given any notice!! and that in the worst month (financially) of the year for most people. So there you go, if anyone has any advice on how to stay positive in that kind of situation, PLEASE let me know!!!
Otherwise, the kid's are back at school, with promises of trying harder this year!! I do believe that this is going to be a challenging year for both Megan and Daniel, but I believe they will both do well, specially with the rewards they have been promised if they do!!
By far the best thing that is going to happen is that my daughter Lindie will be coming out from Australia to visit in April, I can't wait!!!!
